Rules and Terms of use

Location: The studio is located at Barsha Heights, Al Shafar Tower 1, floor 10, Office No.1001, Apod podcast studio

Working Hours : everyday 10 am to 8 Pm

Client Responsibility for Punctuality:The studio is not responsible for extending booking hours if clients are late due to third-party circumstances.

Security: Video surveillance is installed in the studio for security reasons.

Studio Viewing: Introductory showings of studio zones are available from Monday to Saturday 10 am - 8 pm availability.

Furniture and Set Variations:Furniture and interior items may differ from website photos. Notify the studio administrator if strict compliance is required.

Access and Payment: Clients gain access to studio zones only after signing the transfer act for zones, equipment, and props, and completing full payment. Passport details of the responsible person are required.

Lost Items: The studio management is not responsible for forgotten or lost items.

Rule Changes: The studio reserves the right to change the rules and regulations without prior notice.

Renting of Studio Zones

1. Minimum Rental Duration: The minimum rental package for any studio zone is 1 hour.

2.Prepayment for 1-Hour Rentals: Renting for 1 hour requires full payment at the time of booking.

3.Responsibility for Props: Changes to backgrounds, nozzles, furniture, and suspended structures are handled by the administrator. Clients are liable for any damaged props.

4.Use of Materials: Using paints, sparkles, fluff, confetti, and water requires management permission. Unauthorized use transfers liability for damages to the client.

5.Smoking Policy: Smoking or vaping is prohibited. Violation incurs a fine of 100 AED.

6.Alcohol Policy: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Violation incurs a fine of 500 AED.

7.Food and Drink: Clients may consume food and non-alcoholic beverages in designated areas and must clean up afterward.

8.Behavior: Violation of conduct rules or disturbing the peace may result in immediate limitation of studio access.

9.Zone Cleanliness: Zones must be left in the same condition as upon arrival.

Live Podcast Rules

1. Podcast Studio Usage: Inform management if the podcast studio will be used for live or recorded purposes. For live sessions, notify management for equipment and setup checks.

2. Equipment Suitability: Ensure compatibility of tools and equipment (e.g., Mac OS, Windows) prior to the scheduled date. Failure to inform is not the studio's responsibility.

3. Live and Recordings: Inform management about additional services needed and book an extra hour for live editing sessions. Live streaming costs 500 AED. Failure to inform is not the studio's liability.

4. Technical Issues: The studio is not responsible for technical issues beyond its control. (See Rental Adjustment policy for refund)

Prompter Rules

Prompter Usage: Available at 100 AED per hour, charged per hour reserved, aligning with the studio booking duration.

Booking

Prepayment Requirement: Prepayment is required for booking confirmation. Until received, the time remains open for other bookings.

Pre-booking Expiry: Pre-bookings made by phone or email expire if prepayment is not received by the end of the studio's working day on the booking request day.

Rental Timing Calculation

Start Time: The start of booked time is as stated in the schedule, not the actual arrival or start of shooting. No extensions for late arrivals.

End Time: Booking time ends 10 minutes before the scheduled end to accommodate zone changes. The administrator will give a 15-minute warning.

Overlapping Bookings: Clients must vacate the studio by the end of their rented time.

Late Fees: Delays over 10 minutes are charged at the hourly rental rate if the studio is available.

Extensions: Extensions are possible if the studio is available, with extra payment due at the end of the shoot.

Early Completion: Full payment is required even if the shoot ends early.

Rental Adjustment Policy

Adjustment Procedures: Adjust bookings in-person at the studio or by phone.

Adjustment Timeframes: Adjustments can be made up to two times, provided the studio is informed at least 120 hours (5 days) before the original booking.

Refund Policy: No refunds. Date adjustments are allowed per the above procedures and timeframes.

Blacklisting Policy: Repeated violations of the adjustment policy or other misconduct may result in blacklisting.

Liability

Equipment Inventory: Clients receive an equipment checklist upon arrival and must use only booked equipment.

Equipment Inspection: Clients must inspect equipment before and after use and report any issues immediately.

Equipment Handling: Clients are financially responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment during their session.

Damage Responsibility: Clients are liable for damages to equipment, backgrounds, furniture, and studio structures. Compensation for damages is required on the spot. Refusal to pay will result in police involvement.

Visitor Responsibility: Clients are responsible for their visitors.

Damage Fines: Dirtiness and damage to floors and walls: 300 AED/sq. m. Breakage, damage, or dirtiness of curtains: 500 AED/pc. Unauthorized actions with backgrounds: Prohibited. Sticking adhesive tape or drilling holes: Prohibited.

Behavior Policy: The studio has the right to deny entry to intoxicated or inappropriate individuals.

Equipment Damage Compensation: Full financial responsibility for damaged studio equipment and accessories. Equipment is checked by the administrator after the shoot.

Footage & Editing Rules

Materials Delivery: Received within 5 working days via Google Drive link.

Editing: Final edits delivered within 7 days upon receiving the complete brief and external materials. One revision included.

Guest Guidelines for Sessions

4K Shooting Requirement: Guests must provide their own hard drive for 4K data storage.

Attendance Policy: Missed sessions are considered utilized.

Session Postponement: Notify the studio at least two days prior to postpone a session.

Data Retention Policy: All session materials are securely deleted once transferred to the guest.

Health and Safety

Emergency Procedures: Users must familiarize themselves with emergency exits and procedures. In case of an emergency, follow staff instructions and evacuate the premises safely.

Hygiene: Hand sanitizers are provided. Users are encouraged to use them frequently. Stay home if you are feeling unwell. The studio reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone showing signs of illness.

Privacy

Privacy Respect: The studio respects user privacy and will not share personal information without consent.

Shared Spaces Privacy: Users must respect the privacy of others in shared spaces.

Payments and Fees

Payment Requirements: Payment for studio time and services must be made in full before usage.

Additional Charges: Any additional charges (e.g., for extra time, equipment damage) will be billed immediately.

Termination of Use

Right to Terminate: The studio reserves the right to terminate the use of its facilities by any user who violates these terms.

No Refunds for Violations: No refunds will be given for terminated use due to rule violations.
